Fill one charming mug halfway with pre-prepared hot cocoa. (I use Dagoba, yum!) Make it a little on the chocolatey sludgy side :)

Add a 1/2 oz each of Baileys, Frangelico and Kaluha. (To thin the cocoa, you know.)

Garnish with generous whipped cream and dark chocolate shavings. Return to ravishing pool boys...

Wow! I'm glad someone mentioned that the page was occasionally doing double posts - I thought was just seeing double! This is the coolest party I've attended in years (or it will be, if a certain almost-dressed vamp gives back my designated driver! I have a feeling (several actually) that I'm going to need him, even though I gave up champagne several hours ago. I'm drinking healthy - mango margaritas!

Congrats, Barbara. Wow, what a crush! I got here late, but a waiter handed me a Mango Mojito and directed me to the chocolate fountain where I found broccoli to dip into the chocolate... I was wondering what to do with that when a baby dragon with bad breath waddled by... I stepped back out of the dragon's path and spilled my mojito onto some dude's kilt. He isn't wearing anything underneath! After I got an eyeful, he assures me he will be free later, but with that heavy accent, I'm not sure that he doesn't plan to flee! Anyway, the food, music, and decorations are all great. Look, someone brought some brownies to dip into the liquid chocolate. Wake me if I become comatose from chocolate overload (make that when).

I'm reading book 3 in the Hex Series by my favorite, Queen Vicki (Vicki Lewis Thompson), a zombie novel unlike anything I've read before called Patient Zero by Jonathan Maberry, a book called Flash Forward by Robert J Sawyer about people that get a glimpse of their lives 20 years in the future and the ramifications of that, and book two of a super-hero romance by Jennifer Estep called Hot Mama. I can't recommend all of these books highly enough.

Happy Anniversary Barbara. I love reading Paranormal. I just finished reading Crimson City by Liz Maverick and it was terrific. Right now I'm reading Tiger Eye by Marjorie Liu and it's a great read. I'm also reading some short stories by The Mammoth Book of Vampire Romance. Paranormal rocks.

This party is quite pleasant, but I must admit I'm disappointed in the varieties of snacks and beverages. I heard it was paranormal day and there's not a drop of blood to be found. Sure, sure, I could just dive in, insert teeth and drink, but I expected a bit more in the way of amenities. A nice punchbowl with some fresh O negative in it. Little crystal cups, you get my drift.
I noticed the Hunks that LIRW sent over.
It made me wonder if they'd make a nice snack. Let me tell you something. I nearly snapped off a fang trying to get through all that neck muscle.
Still, I have to say there's a nice ambiance here. The lighting is low, the music is acceptable.
I just can't abide the snacks!
